Take a Tour
At Woady Yaloak, our programs reflect the importance of play-based learning offering a wide range of play experiences to all children and encourage children to make choices about their play and extend on abilities, experience, interests and all areas of development.
Our programming is guided by the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework to ensure that each child’s learning and development is supported, encouraged and extended. The (VEYLDF) identifies five Early Years Learning and Development Outcomes for all children:
1. Children have a strong sense of identity
2. Children are connected with and contribute to their world
3. Children have a strong sense of wellbeing
4. Children are confident and involved learners
5. Children are effective communicators
“Play provides the most natural and meaningful means by which children can construct knowledge and understandings, practise skills, immerse themselves naturally in broad range of literacy and numeracy and engage in productive and intrinsically motivated learning environments.”
ECKA is committed to recruiting, retaining and investing in a highly skilled, collaborative workforce who are passionate about educating children in the early years.
