Over the next decade, the Victorian Government is introducing funded Three-Year-Old Kindergarten. This means the creation of more than 4,000 new early childhood teacher roles and 2,000 new educator roles.

Unlike many other jobs which are becoming automated, early childhood education will always rely on people to inspire young children’s minds and foster their learning and development.

With so many opportunities available you’ll be able to work across the state in a range of settings including those run by organisations such as:

• a committee of volunteer parents
• community organisations, including Aboriginal organisations
• local councils
• private businesses
