Victoria has launched Free Kinder Shapes Young Lives, a new campaign celebrating the immediate and lifelong benefits of kindergarten for children and families and recognising the vital role early childhood teachers and educators play every day.
Developed through consultation with the sector and families, the campaign uses a series of familiar “kinder shapes” to represent the cognitive, emotional, physical and social skills children build through play‑based learning.
A parallel set of shapes also celebrates the meaning and impact of a career in early childhood education, recognising the professionalism and contribution of the workforce.
Filmed in a Victorian kindergarten and grounded in authentic learning experiences, the campaign will roll out across radio, digital, social, print and outdoor channels, with tailored activity for multicultural and Koorie communities.
