Important Updates

All ECKA Services will be running as normal in 2021

UPDATE:  FEB 12TH 2021

Regarding today’s announcement of a strict 5 day lockdown in Victoria, (starting 11.59pm tonight February 12th) ALL ECKA SERVICES WILL REMAIN OPEN.
Kindergarten programs will continue as scheduled.
All adults are required to wear masks and to drop off child/ren to staff at the service gate.

Free Kinder in 2021

Kindergarten programs for four-year-olds and eligible three-year-old children in Victorian Government funded services will be free in 2021 as part of a $169.6 million investment in early childhood education in the 2020/21 Victorian State Budget.

Free Kinder forms part of the economic recovery support for Victorians as we recover from the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The initiative is for 2021 only.

This investment will save families around $2,000 for each child enrolled in a participating funded kindergarten program in 2021.

For those families that have children attending unfunded three-year-old programs in sessional (standalone) kindergarten services, there will also be reduced fees.

This offering is in addition to all regular Victorian Government kindergarten funding and the roll-out of universal, funded Three-Year-Old Kindergarten, which will be available across the state by 2022.
