Occasional Care – Offered at Creswick, Haddon and Trentham
This type of care is provided in a range of settings on either an hourly basis, or for short periods of time, or at irregular intervals specifically for parents who need time to attend appointments, take care of personal matters, undertake casual or part-time employment, study or have temporary respite from full-time parenting. These services provide developmental activities for children and are aimed at 0–6 year olds.
Long Day Care – Offered at Beaufort
Is aimed at 0-6 year olds and the education and care programs are created around the developmental needs, interests and experience of each child.
Beaufort Long day care operates for at least 8 hours a day on normal working days for a minimum of 48 weeks per year.
The Long Day Care services at Beaufort also offers a kindergarten program.
The Beaufort Long Day Care Service operates under the National Quality Framework and must meet the requirements of:
- Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010 (National Law)
- Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011 (National Regulations)
- National Quality Standard (Schedule 1 of the Regulations).
The Beaufort Long day care service is assessed and rated as part of the National Quality Framework.
